Ferrum Announces Tuition Freeze

Dear Ferrum Family,

Ferrum College Admissions building

When I arrived on Ferrum College’s campus as a prospective student, I was struck by the obvious compassion that emanated from students, faculty, and staff alike. Along with the diverse academic options, the sense of care for others was one of the main reasons I chose to attend Ferrum.

I am now fortunate to see that same compassion as a member of the President’s Cabinet, where we address challenges and make decisions everyday that affect our students and campus.

Last month, among other initiatives to provide our students and families some financial relief, we made the decision to freeze full-time undergraduate tuition rates for the 2021-22 academic year. You can more about our initiatives in the feature story below.

We know that this year has been difficult for many of our students and their families, and I hope this news provides some comfort as we enter the holiday season. At Ferrum, we remain committed to providing an educational experience that is both accessible and affordable. In short, we will continue to lead with compassion.

With Holiday Wishes,

Wilson Paine ’07
Vice President for Institutional Advancement
